Aiden started attending a local school with a DHH(deaf & hard of hearing)unit on Monday (yesterday). He had a good 1st day. He transitioned from one activity to the next w/o any problems, socialized well, played on computers, and made himself at home. Everyone was impressed with how smart he is.
Today, Aiden was called the "Campus Charmer" - everyone loves him. Young children, older kids, teachers and staff - they've fallen under his spell. Everyone is excited to see him and get to know him better.
Aiden's in good hands. Now we just have to get him to wear his cochlears at school. He's fought wearing them both days so far. he's a little stubborn and determined but he'll come around.
Looking forward to a great couple of weeks before the Christmas break then off to Clarke Schools for Hearing and Speech in Jax in January!

Aiden's Health - 5 days in the Hospital
That's right, Aiden went in Sunday night, came home Tuesday, went back late Tuesday night and released again today. Pneumonia and RSV with slower response than usual to breathing treatments and other meds. His O2 sats were low, ranging from 85-90 most of the time until Thursday afternoon. He's home now and his appetite seems to be picking up. He only drink about 12 ounces a day in the hospital so concern about dehydration were constant. We appreciate the prayers and support from family and friends.
